I know about the fear. I'm a high school teacher and have not dealt with clusters at work for many years since mine just came back after I was sure they were gone forever. I dealt with having them at work in my twenties, but now that I'm in my forties, I don't know that I still have the fortitude. In Sept., I'll once again be in charge of 150+ students each day and I just can't disappear if the beast gets into my head. My strategy will be to have my oxygen tank available and, if necessary, I'll just have to make a quick adjustment in my lesson plan and wear the mask while they're "working."
I do know that we'll get through it and our coworkers, students, whatever, are likely to be compassionate.
