I've done the full-blast A/C in the car, it usually at least kicks the headache down a few notches. When it doesn't, I go to the other extreme and do full-blast heat. It seems to mimic the effect of a hot shower and can also reduce the pain quite a bit. It also mimics a hot shower in that I'm drenched from head to toe after about 10 minutes of it, but what the hey? As soon as the pain subsides to a level I can drive with, I'm headed at high speed for the house and the oxygen anyway!
