great data, gary. certainly raises some interesting questions. as a partial aside, you might be interested in doing a web search on the med sites for MJD (Machado-Joseph's Disease). Totally unrelated to CH, but the 'tracking' history is interesting. Originally, it was thought to affect merely 2 families of Portuguese ancestry (hence the name) More recently, it has been identified in other populations-including asians with apparantly no possibility of being related to the Portugese families thought to be the 'source'.
Not sure what it might mean, but your mind is much more analytical than mine so I thought you might find it interesting and perhaps get some ideas from it.
