The best indication I've noticed over the years is the headaches will become more intense and far more frequent. It's like music building to a cresendo, then the end.
A week ago yesterday I was in my Dr's office, having a very bad time, however, that was my last "baddie". I've had relatively little pain since, and believe the cycle has broken.
Another way of saying, "It's always darkest, just before the dawn". Good luck to your sufferer, and God Bless you and all supporters.
