Hal used to pretty well known for his temper. He hit a bad wedge shot one day and threw his wedge into the air. It came down on his head and split open his scalp. The next day in the clubhouse the joke was: What's the difference between a pro and an amature? A amature skulls his wedge and a pro wedges his skull.
