It is all in how you look at it

Clusters are very rare - no matter how you look at it. The chances of any individual from any family getting clusters is pretty small.

However, I find it absolutely fascinating that our survey results show that 11 % of us have famly member with clusters. That number is a lot higher than I would have supected.

I think my now deceased first cousin may have had them but I am not sure and I did not report it in my survey.

My read on this goes something like this - if someone in your family has clusters you are a lot more likely to get them than someone who comes from a family with no cluster incidence - but because they are inherantly rare, the chances of any one getting them is still very small.

So don't worry.
