I am a physician and suffering from chronic cluster headache.
There are several other ways to manage your disease:
1. Nemexin (NaltrexonŽ in Germany) is worth a try. It is a morphine anatagonist and blocks
endorphine receptors in the triggering zone. At least it helped me for at
least 3 years! CAVE: Do not use this medication if you currently use high amounts of morhins, as an acute withdrawl will be induced!!!!! CONTACT YOUR DOC
2. Imitrex usually helps at the 3mg dose (s.c.). This information should help you to use sumatriptan up to 5
times a day (at the 3 mg dose level).

All the best and think about the glass which is never half empty but always
half full!!!!!
