Have to agree with you, Kip. Judi M, even the worst of the stats I've seen say it's 6-1, or 14.3% female. Personally, I believe our survey results of 3-1 (25%) are probably closer to the truth.
What WE both (m/f) have is excess gray matter around the hypothalmus. It is possible that something in the genetic or hormonal differences between male and female fetuses (feti?)make male babies more susceptible to this development, but that is many more years and research studies away.
I suspect that the m/f breakdown ratios are a result of bad diagnoses, just as I suspect the % of men with migraines is higher than thought.
