Imitrex pill form works but not very fast. I fear my head may explode first. The inhalers (20mg) work every time and generally in about 12-15 minutes. The time it takes the inhaler seems to be dependent on catching the headache in the early stages. I've not had to use more than two of the inhalers in a 24 hour period, but I do get a headache at 1:30-2:00PM and one at 1:30-2:00AM. So, I'm using Imitrex twice each day. About 6 weeks in the cycle now. Taking Imitrex has not shown to change the length of the cycle or at least not that I've noticed. Thanks! Ken
