Hello. Hope your trip to the neuro is helpful. I have been taking 75mg indomethican--or indocin, same thing --once a day along with 300mg lithium 3x per day for about 4 years. This has reduced chronic CHs to episodic. The indocin is called a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. I tried kicking it a few years back, and went directly into a cluster. Started up again, and leveled off again.
So, I would have to say that for me, it has been helpful. BUT...for some reason, the current cycle I'm in has not been responsive to anything. I would like to think that the indocin, lithium, etc. is at least keeping it from being worse than it is. Oh yeah, the lithium affects the thyroid, so now I take thyroid meds, too.
