maybe you should try to find a doc who has a lot of cluster headache experience, and ask him to confirm the diagnosis
strange doings the last year or two -
used to be that CH was nearly unknown, or doc's didn't "believe" in it - so people weren't getting diagnosed
NOW it seems that since CH has been getting a lot more publicity, a LOT of docs are using it as a catchall for tough head pain cases they can't deal with,
because then they can say "well, nothing really works for cluster headache you know" and camouflage their ineptitude
I am NOT saying this is your case, but you should be aware of it - because anything that hurts as bad as CH, but ISN'T CH....can be very serious indeed
