It has been 6 weeks and I have had at least 1-3 headaches per day. I went to see my neurologist the beginning of this month and he told me that my profession (lawyer) was causing my headaches. So, I would like to know how stress plays a part in others' headaches.
Also, I wonder if I even have clusters. It is not even like a headache. It is more of an eye disorder. It is always on the left side of my head. The light starts to blind me and hurts my eye. It never really is deep pains in my head, justs my eyes. Then it starts to water, my nose starts to run, and I am forced to lay down with my eyes shut. A couple of times lately, it has been in both eyes and literally could not see out of either eyes for a at least a 45 minute period. I was diagnosed 10 years ago and they would happen on and off in the past 10 years. Usually at ovulation or menses. And it would not happen every month. Now, They have been going on for 6 weeks. I have taken a week off work to see if that would help. I have not been smoking, drinking, have 1 cup of coffee, no trigger foods. I am wondering if it could be the stress of being a trial lawyer. Yesterday was the third day in the past six weeks a full headache did not come on. Although I felt the symptoms, I never had to resort to laying down with a pack of ice on my back or head.
Reading other messages, I assume my message is too long. I hope someone responds soon with their symptoms and whether stress plays a factor.
