Back in the 70s after finally been diagnosed with CH and hospital stay of 3 days to try and get it stopped. Every time the high powered drugs wore off my headache was back even worse than before. I was working for a group of doctors at the time and one was an IM Doct and he asked me how I felt (day I came back to work) I told him awful, all drugged up and stuff..He said he had migraines and wanted me to try a med they were trying for headache relief. It was Inderal. He was a migraine sufferer himself. He said when he took the Inderal he didn't have the migraines, however, it reduced his heart beat so that he couldn't take it. He started me on it and checked my pulse during the day for a week and so I started taking Inderal at that time. Seemed to work fine, can't remember why I stopped taking it. Too long ago....I have CRS Syndrome at times.

I do know one side effect Inderal has on men, it really affects their bedroom performance and is very frustrating to them. Inderal is prescribed for heart patients and is a beta blocker. I guess DocGreg can explain about the side effect in men and sex.....I don't remember it lowering my sex drive, the other I can't tell you, because I don't have the right plumbing... Help DocGreg, get me out of this one!

I just know we suffer from a lot of frustrations anyway....just one more right?

A Dame
