I also visited my doc today. She was terrific. Really looked over the info, we even talked later in the day. Tried Lidocaine, without relief, this am.
I did similar stuff as you. If you have a good doc, doing for yourself is a wonderful thing.
Great for you. I also got Imitrex, and am now on 360 verapamil from 240.
