I've had CH since 1970. I am in my 29th year of suffering from CH. I began chronic and about 10 years ago began episodic. I have never experienced this facial pain before either. I would certainly hope it is just some sort of rebound pain and resolve on its own. I am rather doubtful though, as this pain mimics the CH pain to a "T".
