I am presently taking 549 mg of Verapamil, use ice packs, and 50 mg Imitrex pills for the bad headaches. When I get a smaller one, I take 2 Ultram 50 or 2 Darvocet. Sometimes they help along with the O2. I have tried Demeral and Vicoprofen and they did nothing for the pain.
