It was very difficult to get my wife to understand the pain of my cluster headaches. It was extremely frustrating for her to not be able to help in any way when my headaches came up.
Reading the messages posted on this site helped tremendously -- she now realizes that my headaches are "for real" and that I'm not crazy (it was useful to me in this aspect, too!)
