CH started at 18 when I was in college. Then a ten year break. Then got them episodic over the next ten years while I was working as a goldsmith/diamond setter/ jewelry designer. Also playing in a few bands, mostly rock n roll, and country. Never got one on stage, thank the gods. After the last cycle, I changed jobs, went through a devastating divorce and grieving period. I worked as a bartender because I was an emotional basket case and still needed to support myself. During that time I was around second hand smoke and drank more than was good for me, but no clusters.
After the depression lifted I went back to work in the real world. When I got an excellent job at a law firm in the Technology dept., the week I started I got a new cluster episode. Fortunately the job had good insurance and I was clustering in my sleep and not at work. Now that episode is over, but I dont think I would be able to function at work. Or at least not productively. I am also very sensitive to smoke now, and have to avoid bars. :( And red wine is my trigger.
