My CHs took about 8 years of cycles of building pain before I got to the point that the pain is so bad that I can't tell if it is getting any worse. It has been 5 years at the I can't believe it pain level. I rarely get the tension type of headaches. I do get the pressure feeling headaches behind the CH eye quite often in the last five years.
