I've had CH the entire time I've worked this job, I'm episodic, job is Asst. Director of Facility Services at a state university, so everyone in my office was aware I had them. Nobody had ever seen me with one. I did get hit a few times at work but I just shut my office door and rode it out. Cluster before last I started to get hit at work. I was sitting at my desk, back to the door and the HA was quickly building. My boss walked in, took one look and started to call for the paramedics. I stopped him, had him pull the blinds on the window and close the door on the way out. He thought for sure I was stroking out or something.

Since then, no problem when I'm in a cluster and need time off. He even encouraged me to file a comp claim in case the cluster didn't stop and I had to quit working. He also didn't mind that I had the news crew in here for an hour on Tuesday, totally disrupting the office.

Once they see it first hand, they don't question it any more.
