Just a quik note about your "cold tub idea....not far off the mark there. I've seen Mike dip into our cold mountain river in desperation when a CH hits him if we're out camping. Now, I'm talking COLD water - run off from the mountains, ok? Think about it. Glacier-fed, freakin' cold water. Instant relief. Instant abort.
We build a sauna when we go camping (like an Indian sweatlodge deal) and it will trigger an attack for him - the heat - only if he is in a cycle. BUT, we are always camped by a river and we all plunge in to it after. It's saved Mike quite a few times. I also have to think that we are getting more oxygen camping in the mountains too.
Way cool about your neck xrays. Hope you're keeping track of this stuff somewhere.
