I seldom get to a 10 but have and have done some head banging, Does it help? Well, it's a distraction from the pain just as screaming through the house is. Don't know which scares my wife the most. Mostly, when O2 doesn't work, I just pace and grumble, the volume and intensity depending on the level. Good luck.
