The USFDA deals with medicine only if the people who make it define it as a food or a drug with a medical effect. American companies that make melatonin don’t define it as a drug, so you can get it anywhere in the States. Just call melatonin a “supplement” or even an “inactive ingredient” and you’re in business Yet another reason why the US is known as “The land of Opportunity.”
