I should have made it clear that I both smoke and drink (when not in cycle, because in cycle alcohol is a definite trigger!)
I didn't mean to imply that I thought it was purelyu coincidental, but rather that the causative relationship didn't make much sense to me. Your 'self-medicate' proposition, Jack, is closer to what I tend to think.
