Good morning,

What you are experiencing is quite common for cluster sufferers; you may want to check the archives for other posts on the subject.

At the beginning of my cycle of CH's I am awakened at about 3am by the beast and then there are several more attacks durning the following 24 hours. This keeps up for 6 6o 8 weeks and then goes away. The shadows you are experiencing are also common to many of us.

I suffered each and every year from 1964 until 1992. Then I went into a remission until early this year when they came back. I had the usual 6 to 8 weeks of attacks and then they left, as they used to.

The big difference this time is finding this site and my new "family" here. (Also discovered the injections of imitrex - God bless Glaxo Wellcome!).

Now that I am in remission again I still read the posts but have not added my two cents worth on as regular a basis.

Phil D
