This information was checked in the 1990 edition of the United States Pharmacopeia. You can probably find a later edition in your local library and your doctor almost certainly has the most current edition. For a doctor to be using an out-of-date edition would be begging for a malplractice suit.
Please note that each generic drug usually has about ten manufacturers and each manufacturer has its own name, far too many to list.
