I found using Imitrex pill in combination with
Oxygen a great way to get rid of the full blown
clusters. The verapamil causes less attacks.
My neuro said next week, he will take me off
of the Imitrex and put me on DHE spray. He said
that has a nice longer lasting affect. But I
will ask him about this Amerge stuff. He said
there were alot of new drugs out since I had attacks
two years ago. Last year, I was given Dapokote,
and I only suffered two very minor clusters.
But, two months later, I lost lots of hair. No
fun for a woman. Well, the hairs back - and I;d
almost risk that after effect again. Unfortunately,
I didn't know what the effects were till it was
too late. Good luck and keep us posted on rebound
affects and breakthru as well with this drug.
