By definition, Riccardo's findings ARE part of the collective experience.
The dynamics of this message board are such that it couldn't possibly be considered as a controlled scientific medium, however it could provide all the necessary resources to springboard such a purely scientific medium into existence. An excellent example is DocGreg's project to provide information for healthcare professionals. There is certainly potential for other projects, studies, statistical analysis, etcetera. Perhaps even a different website with stricter controls on it. This message board can provide much of the raw material which could then be more narrowly focused elsewhere.
