I was on beta blockers for over five years and thought that they were doing me the world of good. The only problem was that my doctor had mis-diagnosed me as being a migraine sufferer. The whole time that I thought I was cured I was in remission. I now know this having been correctly diagnosed as suffering from CH. Beta blockers may give one a rosier view on the world, but as I can now attest they do NOT cure CH.
