Please encourage her to stay in the hospital longer if she is able. My last surgery, I felt great and went home the next day -- BIG mistake --I wasn't taking into account the fact that the morphine drip was helping me feel REALLY good and I didn't have that at home. If I'm ever under the knife again, I'm going to stay one day longer than I think I need to JUST IN CASE!
