Dear cluster headache sufferers, friends, and family,
My name is Eric Goldklang. I am a medical student at the Medical College of Georgia
and am working with Dr. Larry Mellick, one of the authors of the article on ritalin
therapy for cluster headaches in the August issue of Headache.
We have seen several patients who have gotten significant relief by using
ritalin. However, additional studies are necessary to determine exactly
how well ritalin works.
We need to collect as many testimonials as possible of patients who have tried ritalin
for their headache. If you or anyone you know of has used ritalin, please contact me
with your story. By accumulating as much information as possible, hopefully we
can determine if we have indeed found a worthy new treatment which can provide relief
for victims of this horrible affliction.
