I used to get 3 or 4 attacks a night. I wake up at the first sign, so a get at the O2 early enough to abort it within 5 minutes. Nevertheless, sleeping in small installments didn't give a good rest. Now I take a 2.5 mg tablet of Naratriptan (Naramig, Amerge) before bedtime and get a full nights sleep. Some times I get an attack when waking up in the morning, also easily aborted with O2. My main preventive is 480 mg/day of Verapamil. I only get daytime attacks if someone has hidden MSG in my food.
