My Sister was originally diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia because her pain seemed to start in the sub orbital facial area. Her teeth around the molar and canine area was affected. However all her other symptoms were classic CH symptoms. She saw a neuro and CH was the verdict.
There is some mention of sympathetic pain in a few CH books I have read. Thus, TGN could possibly be the diagnosis because there are some similarities.
