some very good distinctions;
I'm confused by the quiet, dark place one though-

In attack I get quit light sensitive - retreat to dark area is helpful, dark cold area is best

quiet area doesn't matter too much as long as it isn't noise I feel compelled to pay attention to or respond to (basically - turn the TV up loud but please don't try to talk to me)

always thought seeking refuge in dark room if possible, etc was pretty standard CH response- in preference to bright lights

maybe you were thinking of the migraine tendency to go rest quietly in a dark room as a noncluster tendency (I agree - dark-yes, rest quietly - no way)
