I use as few injections as possible, prefering
things like oxygen when I can. During the very
worst stages of my cycle, I may use 2 per day, but
only for a day or two. What I will not do is to
let the h/a go to full force. So if nothing else
works (or is available) I will take the shot every
time.
I think that the problem I had the last time I
went overseas with clusters is that imitrex was
the only thing I had available, and the stress of
the trip really set things off far worse than at
home.
So for piece of mind, I am packing for the
absolue worst case of 3 per day. I think that
just having them should remove some of the
anxiety, and help keep things under control.
