Feverfew seems to be working again

I posted an earlier message whereby I stated that feverfew had helped in the past, but the concentrated drops I had been taking recently didn't seem to work. However, as it was the only method that had given me relief in 24 years, I decided to try the capsules one last time.

I have been taking capsules made by Blackmores for the past three days, and last night my CH episode lasted only 1.25 hours, with a greatly reduced pain level. In fact, I was able to find a comfortable position in bed, and didn't have to pace the floor for 45 minutes as usual.

During the previous three weeks (since the latest cycle started), the episodes were lasting 2.5 to 3 hours per night, and I had a persistent shadow all day. This morning, I woke up feeling rested, and had nowhere near the shadows I have had non-stop.

My conclusion, not all feverfew is created equally. The Blackmores capsules gave me relief for 24 months, with the odd twinge now and then, but never a full on episode. Thinking I was "cured", I stopped taking them at the end of last year.

I'll keep the group posted on my outcome. The last time I started this remedy, the episodes were minimalised after five days, and had ceased altogether within a fortnight (two weeks).
