I have clusters, the chronic kind. I would discribe it like a red hot drill bit placed in my temple and twisted. Basically it sucks.
But I do try to go to a quiet dark room to get away and not affect my wife so badly by the suffering I am go through. It really scares her sometimes. I also lay down alot when I get the headaches because I have blacked out from the pain quite often. And I have found that banging my head really does not help me much anyway. Just scares the wife and gives me bad bruises later.
DJ, Just my 2 cents on the subject that it is not a 100% clear cut test. But you did say you may or may not have clusters. You need to stress that only a qualified, stress qualified doctor who knows the diffence between clusters, migraines, etc can accurately diagnose you.
Just wanted to put in my opinion on this subject.
