I too have been diagnosed with cluster headaches. I have been treated in the past with Caffergot (ergotamine tartrate). Two pills when the "aura" appears and one every fifteen minutes until the headache ebbs. My headache episodes arrive about every two years and last for three months. Unfortunatly they have started again yesterday. I will be going to the doctor today and will advise you on what he prescribes. I do not beleive there is a non-surgical cure for cluster headaches.
