May it have growned due to the release of a growth hormone early in the life due to the fact that the immune system was out of line during an initial unbalanced phase ?
It may well be part or the reason of the dysfunctionnal response of the immune system to agression.
But I still think you need an external bacterial or viral stimulation to kick start a cycle.
