Yeah, I had heard that alot of the time, they will start at least tapering off when you hit 50. I haven't had a bout in 3 yrs, then the other day, they started in again. One of the bad things about CH.......even when you DON'T have them, you worry about the next time. I'm hoping they won't be as severe this time.......they are as severe, but so far, not as frequent. The last time, I had them constantly, for seven months. BUT........after about five months, I finally talked doc into giving me a script for sansert. They had worked in preventing and getting rid of the CH's years ago, but the other docs I had didn't want to prescribe it.......they'd give out any amount of pain meds you wanted, and even suggest going into the hospital and letting them feed ya Demerol for days at a time........which I rejected. It's only a temporary solution in my case.....the headaches would still be there after the treatment. This time, my doc is prescribing the sansert, and as soon as the pharmacy gets them in, I'll start on them. It takes a month or so for the headaches to taper and stop, but at least that's better than several months. Anyone else try sansert?
