Well, now that you've checked up on me, I'd better admit that when I said Art Institute I couldn't really remember where I'd seen it! I was also recently at the National Gallery in D.C. (at the end of May) so I may have seen it there. I think it was different from the St. Stephen you mention though, b/c it was definitely a small boy. And I keep asking myself if I'd seen it in Italy a couple of years ago, but I didn't know Bryan then and doubt it would have had such an impact on me...oh well. I love visiting art museums but am not very good at remembering what's what and where! I'm clearly an amateur! Keep us posted on your literary findings!
