gary-
Here's my input on red wine and alcohol for you to add into your staggering database.

In cycle (i'm episodic) ANY alcohol is an immediate trigger. In fact, I'm one that uses a drink (scotch is my choice) to 'verify' that a cycle is over. If I can take a drink and not get attacked, cycle's gone.

Red wine is also a very definite HEADACHE trigger. I've always suspected the sulfites that are in almost all red wine, as white wine contains less and I can tolerate up to 2 glasses of white wine. One glass of red will bring on a normal HA---a strong but dull all over 'tightness' in my head. Nothing at all like a cluster, but annoying none the less. And aggravating for one who is 1/2 Italian (other 1/2 English, just to toss in one for your latitude research) who LOVES red wine.
KTSSU,
T
