I tried two sessions in 1984. The first was tried as a preventive. I was getting level 8's and 9's at the time. A couple of days later, I went for treatment with a level nine in progress. The Chinese doctor inserted and twirled about 25 needles in my head, ears, hands and even my feet. I lay there in agony for more than an hour and finally went home to take oxycodone and ice packs until the pain left me exhausted. Perhaps for some.
