The only connection I could associate with childhood abuse is IF you were beaten up by your parents SEVERLY on the head as a child .

And that , has still not been proven that by receiving concussions on the head could lead to CH .

I don't mean to be harsh , as I am CH sufferer , but you don't need to waste your money on this shrink . Or any other one for that matter .

You need to see a neurologist specialist who has experience in treating this case . The first thing you need to do is make sure to question the neurologist if he has prior experince with cluster patients , how many is he currently treating and what are his treatment regimen .

You could also visit a headache clinic .

And tell your shrink that he has it all wrong .
And a cigar is just a cigar and a CH has nothing to do with your parents .

Ask him to take you to his summer cottage by the lake that you are helping to pay for , maybe that will relieve your CH . :))
