Dan, I don't know if remeron will help ABORT a cycle, but in my case they have stopped the cycle from coming back. Its been 1 yr HA free..which is incredible for me. 30 mgs works for me. The side effects are, the first dose will knock you you out for a good 12 hrs. But subsequent dosses make you less drowsy. Best to take it at night. Weight gain and leg cramps initially but after a couple of weeks they subside. Hope it works for you. I don't know about lithium, but initially I was taking both remeron and verapimil.
