This is my 43rd year of episodic cluster pain (first attack when I was nineteen; I’m 62, now) and Verapamil is the only medicine that any doctor has prescribed in all that time that has had any effect on the Demon. I started out taking 480 mg. a day and am now down to 120 mg. a day. I would have stopped taking the Vep a couple of months ago, but, as it happens, Vep was developed to combat hypertension, so I’m still taking it.
