Just a thought -- dihydroergotamine (DHE) is closely related chemically to sansertt and shares some of the same pharmacological effects, but it's not known to have the same damaging long term side effects. The down side is that it's primarily given by injection. They've recently come out with a nasal spray form, but I found it relatively ineffective. The injections can now be given subcutaneously, which makes it amenable to home use (like insulin). I've found it very effective for me so far (about one month of use).
