I can't say that I would do it myself, but I totally
understand. There have been occasions, eg. anniversaries,
when I've risked it to see whether the reaction is
still there. Once a year maybe....
To link back to a previous thread, if I knew that hammering
a nail into my hand now when I'm in control would
stop someone else doing it three times tomorrow,
at their convenience, I might consider it. (Even better
if at the end of it I were able to enjoy something)
