Dear Sonya,
I'm glad you "shared your scare" with us here. As soon as I read your post, I told my husband about it. I had a very simular "scare" about 3 years ago. By the time the paramedics arrived at my home, they were sure I'd had a stroke. Half of my face went limp, I couldn't talk properly (slurred my words) and my right arm and leg were virtually paralyzed. A few hours after arriving at the hospital, I began to regain control of my right side. When the ER physician discovered that I'd been suffering a severe, prolonged bout of cluster headaches, he theorized that because they (clusters) were on the left, that circulation had been cut off to the right side long enough to cause temporary paralysis. He didn't seem very confident in his theory, and because of that I've always been somewhat mystified by the event. Now that I hear someone else relate a simular experience, I feel a bit more confident in his theory. All my best to you Sonya, and again, thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Jackie M.
