Thank you for posting something positive about ritalin. I am so worried that my daughter won't be able to get it because of all the bad press. There is four hyperactive generations in my family that I know of and my grandfather and mother are both alcholics. they self medicated. my mom's now recovered. She was uncontrollable as a teenager although very bright. Had she been medicated she would have been able to be even more successful. I had trouble focusing in school and was very bored even in private school. i know i would have benefited from it. Why make a person with a broken leg try to walk without crutches?
